Coach embarrasses BRU over Vultures job

Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) was left with egg on its face after coach, Ivor Greeves resigned just seconds after he was announced as the new Vultures coach.

While Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) president, Lesedi Keekae was making an announcement at the National Stadium on Wednesday afternoon; across town Greeves was busy drafting his resignation letter.

Greeves has coached Vultures since 2008 and his contract ended last year. During his stay, he won nine games and lost 14 out of the 23 he coached. That makes it a 39.13% win rate. He has been in and out of the role since 2008.
