Healthy economy needs healthy women - Prof Moahi

A healthy woman would contribute immensely to the growth of the country’s economy hence investing in women’s health must be a priority.

Professor Kgomotso Moahi said this today when giving opening remarks at the ongoing international women’s health conference held at the University of Botswana conference centre.

She said for women to contribute to the engine of economic growth they should be healthy. Moahi said poor health for women could limit their capabilities in contributing to the growth of the economy.
