The Money Machine as they are popularly known have been struggling with internal bickering leading to a standoff between the players and management.

The players have in the past threatened to down tools over unpaid salaries while the management on the other hand admitted to financial troubles. However, last week some senior players took a decision to stay away from the matches until their salaries are paid.  On Saturday, GU only managed to bring eight players for the match against Police XI who are fighting for their survival in the league. During the match two of their players suffered injuries and with six players only remaining, the match was called off taking incidents of such nature to three in two seasons.
