Rollers Top Group A After KCCA Win

Lemponye Tshireletso’s late first half strike gifted Township Rollers a 1-0 victory over visiting KCCA of Uganda in a CAF Champions league Group A encounter played at the National Stadium on Friday evening.

With group rivals, Al Ahly and Esperance de Tunis playing to a 0-0 draw on the same evening, the win took Rollers to the top of the group with three points after the first round of group stages matches.

The home side had the first attempt at goal as early as the fourth minute. Mosha Gaololwe had his shot blocked by the defence for corner before he headed his attempt from the corner over the bar.
