Extension Gunners and Gaborone United (GU) played to a dull 0-0 draw in a BTC Premiership encounter played at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.

The draw stretches Gunners’ winless streak to six games with the Peleng Boys having only collected a point in six games.

Both sides came into the match marred by off-field issues. Gunners have suspended six of their key players for miscount while the Reds have been hit by players’ strikes owing to outstanding dues. With both sides desperate for maximum points on the afternoon, the first quarter was evenly contested and locked at the back.
