BAA sends strong team for CAA Championships

The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has assembled a strong team to compete at the Regional Youth and Junior Championships at the Boksburg Stadium in Johannesburg on Friday and Saturday. The championships is organised by Confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA) Southern Region.

BAA public relations officer, Ipolokeng Ramatshaba, said the team has been in camp since Monday and the success of the Commonwealth Games team is expected to rub off the juniors.
