PALAPYE: Sua Flamingoes are 270 minutes of football away from achieving the ever-elusive dream of playing top-flight football. Flamingoes are favourites to secure a playoffs berth in the Debswana First Division North. Their nearest rivals, Motlakase Power Dynamos are a point below.

Flamingoes are home to Great North Tigers and have dominated the Francistowners since their debut season in the second tier league.  The teams met five times in the league with Flamingoes winning three, while the other two matches ended in a draw.

The Sowa side scored 10 against three for GNT. At any given day, this encounter will be a walk in the park for the Sowa outfit. However, it will be a demanding encounter and mental strength will be vital. Flamingoes have a great appetite for goals. They have scored 13 goals in their last four wins and will have themselves to blame if they let slip. All odds are against their opponents who are winless in the last four games. Flamingoes made their promotion goals clear since making their debut in 2015/2016.  They controlled the league the entire first round only to trip at the final hurdle and finish third in their first season. They finished third again last season.
