Notwane Is My Home Mpoeleng

Experienced defender, Mpoeleng Mpoeleng has said his heart has always been at Notwane, where he spent most of his playing career at. Mpoeleng helped Notwane gain promotion to the Premier League on Saturday after returning to the club this season.

He started his career at Notwane and spent at least 10 years donning the gold and black colours before he joined Mochudi Centre Chiefs. Mpoeleng went on to play for FC Satmos after relocating to Selebi-Phikwe and later joined Nico United before he finally re-traced his steps to Notwane.

Speaking following their 3-0 win over Rovers, Mpoeleng said despite spending some of his late years playing for other teams, Notwane were always in his heart. “I am very happy and proud that I helped this team gain promotion. I love this team and wherever I was, this great club has always been in my heart. I also have to thank Pio Paul because when he arrived, he requested the services of experienced players like myself,” said Mpoeleng.
