Legwale appeals bail ruling

A man who is accused of the gruesome murder of his sister-in-law, Thato Meswele, has turned to the High Court to appeal for his freedom after the Magistrate’s Court denied him bail.

Enerst Legwale, 43, allegedly hired hitmen to kill his then wife, Dimpho Meswele, but the killer accidentally murdered the sister (Thato) instead, back in 2015 at Oodi village.

Recently Broadhurst chief magistrate Faith Ngandu denied Legwale and his co-accused, Hamadi Nkhuha, 47, bail, allowing the prosecution to further investigate the case.
