Alleged 'Hitman' Tells Court His Confession Was A Lie

A man allegedly hired by another man to kills his former wife shocked the court recently when he claimed his previous confession before court was a lie and should not be used as part of the evidence.

A day after the police arrested him on February 19, 2018 at Mmopane village, one of the alleged hitmen, Hamadi Nkhuha, 47, appeared before Broadhurst Magistrates Court where he gave a confession statement. But appearing for mention last Thursday, Nkhuha shocked the court when he blurted out that his confession was a lie.

It was his third court appearance, having first appeared to giving out a confession statement and the second time with one of his co-accused Ernest Legwale, 43, who alleged hired Nkhuha together with the one still on the run to kill his then wife, Dimpho Meswele.
