Since signing to Universal Music Group, Vee Mampeezy has shot the Champion music video, which cost a quarter of a million pula to make.

The Metro FM award winner has never shot a video in Botswana since, even I do and Happy videos were shot outside the country. It will be the first time he shoots a video in Botswana since signing to the international audience.

“For the first time in three years, Vee Mampeezy and Universal Music South Africa have decided to shoot a music video in Botswana.

On Wednesday we’re shooting Khubama Re Itshebe music video in Botswana. Universal Music emphasised that the song is wholly produced by Motswana @BK Proctor and Amo Beatz.

Botswana directors, Scooby and Legodile Lekky will be working hand in hand with the Multi-Award Winning South African director, Nicky Campos and for utmost quality we mastered the song in Loandon.

We’re cooking the best video in Africa,” Vee announced on his Facebook page this week.

shortly after the artist pleaded with the public to help find his lost CD containing his unreleased single Khubama Re Itshebe.

In what some presumed a publicity stunt, Vee said he lost the CD during a music festival and then put up a P10,000 reward to whomever finds or has information on his demo CD.

The artist has not yet revealed how much the video will cost, but in terms of video quality it looks like Vee will be in good hands in Campos.

Campos is an award-winning media producer who owns a music video and film production company based in Johannesburg called Campos TV.

Dynamic, urban and on the cutting edge, Campos has produced videos for artists like Hugh Masekela, Cassper Nyovest, Black Coffee, HHP, Teargas, Jamali, Professor and many others over the past decade.

Perhaps this time in the music video the Letlhale hitmaker will not abandon his loyal dancers like Coming Soon in favour of just SA celebrities.
