'Knobkerrie murder' trial continues

FRANCISTOWN: The trial of a Mopipi man who allegedly killed another at a drinking spot with a knobkerrie continued on Tuesday before Justice Zibani Makhwade.

The investigating officer, detective sub-inspector Isaac Molefhi told the court that he started knowing the accused, Golelamang Selang after he was arrested by some of his colleagues in relation to the murder of Dikaelo Bapoga. 

Molefhi said Selang allegedly assaulted Bapoga on the head with a knobkerrie on May 17, 2013 at Mopipi village.
