No invite for rejected candidates in Judges� position

The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Eric Molale says it is not true that rejected Judges of the High Court can still offer themselves for appointment.

Molale told Parliament this week that he was not aware of any invitation to the bench of candidates whose recommendations were rejected by President Ian Khama.

He explained that in the case of Omphemetse Motumise the recommendation followed an advert for the post of the judge, following retirement of Judge David Newman.
