Gaborone west police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide, which occurred yesterday (Tuesday) at phase 1 location in G/west.

Assistant superintendent Irene Lepodise confirmed the incident in an interview with Mmegi. He said that they received the report yesterday around six in the evening from one of the deceased’s sister who had visited her.

“The sister who reported the matter told the police that on arrival at her sister’s rented house she knocked several times without an answer, tried to reach her through the phone without an answer. She said that after a while she looked though the window only to see his sister’s boyfriend hanging from the house rafters and her sister laying on the floor motionless,” Lepodise said.
