Galaxy fly out to Maputo for CAF debut

Jwaneng Galaxy left Gaborone this morning, destined for Maputo, Mozambique where they play Costa dol Sol in a CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round tie on Friday afternoon. Kick is at 3pm (Botswana time).

It will be Galaxy’s first adventure in Africa after the Jwaneng side won the Mascom Top 8 Cup last season.

Although untested at continental level, they have proven to be able opponents on the local front and they lie second behind leaders, Township Rollers on the BTC Premiership table.
