Chimbombi resigned from public service in October 2015.  Mmegi has learnt that the 58-year-old might contest in BNF parliamentary primaries in Kgalagadi South. The BNF will welcome over 50 members this weekend at their Tsabong rally.

“It is true I have recently joined the BNF. Our aim as a party is to re-claim Kgalagadi South.  The BNF is strong in this area and we had made sure that all its structures are in place. I cannot deny or confirm that I am contesting because I have not thought about it,” Chimbombi said.
