Former Permanent Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Agriculture, Dr Micus Chimbombi will be amongst those to be welcomed at the Botswana National Front (BNF) rally over the weekend.

Chimbombi resigned from public service in October 2015.  Mmegi has learnt that the 58-year-old might contest in BNF parliamentary primaries in Kgalagadi South. The BNF will welcome over 50 members this weekend at their Tsabong rally.

“It is true I have recently joined the BNF. Our aim as a party is to re-claim Kgalagadi South.  The BNF is strong in this area and we had made sure that all its structures are in place. I cannot deny or confirm that I am contesting because I have not thought about it,” Chimbombi said.
