Sports View runners club is in the process of reviewing the constitution so as to align it to the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA). The resolution was taken during the club’s annual general meeting (AGM) held in Gaborone on Saturday.

The club chairperson, Glody Dube told the members that the document was not properly drawn from the beginning. He said it is imperative for the constitution to be aligned to that of the BAA. He said they have started the ball rolling and somebody is assisting with points of law for the new constitution.

“We are considered the best club in the country and we must do things in a proper manner. Our technical officers are always engaged during BAA activities. Last year the BAA requested us to host their national championships and did a good job. The same thing might happen this year. I implore you to put all hands on deck and make sure that this club goes far,” he said.
