MoBE urged to admit Ramaphatle students into boarding schools

Kgosi Colly Cock of Thamaga has called on the Ministry of Basic Education to consider admitting all Junior Certificate students from Ramaphatle into boarding schools in the region.

Speaking at the ongoing Ntlo Ya Dikgosi meeting today, Cock said the students were forced to walk 18 kilometres daily arguing that this could deter their learning. 

He also emphasised that not all parents could afford to give their children transport fees to go to school.
