Khama cleared of abuse of office

President Ian Khama has walked out of the Mosu inquest unscathed, as the Ombudsman cleared him of any wrongdoing.

Khama in relation to his retirement home in Mosu has been under investigation for alleged abuse of office, public funds and resources following a complaint lodged by the Botswana Congress Party (BCP).

The BCP had complained that the President had abused his office by using public resources to build his Mosu home.
