The two have been suspended from all football activities and face a disciplinary hearing.

Mogorosi and Msomi charged at TAFIC’s Samuel Phiri after he had slapped Edwin Moalosi.

The two Rollers players will now miss Sunday’s Mascom Top 8 semi- final against Jwaneng Galaxy in Lobatse.

“Everybody is concerned with what happened on Tuesday. For now, the players are being subjected to a disciplinary inquiry and we will wait for that. But I can assure you that at Rollers, we believe in discipline,” Shah told a media briefing yesterday.

He said he met the two players and told them that their aggression was uncalled for.

“I can assure you that they will face disciplinary action from the club.”

Meanwhile, the club’s general manager, Sydney Magagane said the team was ready to host El Merikh of Sudan in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League at the

National Stadium on February 10.

“The advance team travelled to Sudan on the first week of January. We are happy with what we saw including the security, which looks very tight despite the political instability. Merikh will arrive in Gaborone on February 8,” Magagane said.

The Sudanese are ranked as the fifth best team in Africa, and have never gone out in the preliminary round, evidence of the mammoth task that lies ahead for Rollers.

Tickets for the match sell at P200 for the VIP section, P100 for the grand stands, P50 for Panda and P30 for the rest of the ground.

Magagane said on the eve of the match, both Rollers and their opponents will visit Sir Seretse Khama Junior School, which the local side has adopted for its Under-17 junior team.

The return leg will be played a week later in Khartoum.
