Auditions for Miss Culture 2018 on

Sebini Cultural Event will host Miss Culture 2018, a beauty contest focused on reviving Setswana culture.

The event coordinator Refilwe Senna told Mmegi that the pageant was meant to showcase different Setswana cultures. She said they came up with the pageantry on the realisation that many youths did not know their culture. 

“This beauty pageant is open for all the youth across the country. We have not limited the number of contestants, as this contest is open for tribes across the country. We do not want to leave any tribe behind. We expect the contestants to research and showcase their different cultures. We want our youth to be proud of their tribes and their cultures,” she said.
