D-Day for public markets

Gaborone City Council (GCC) will tomorrow make final decision on whether to close their public markets or not.

Last June, GCC notified all tenants of public markets to vacate the premises by end of January this year.

This followed a full council meeting at which a plan to partner with private companies to develop its public markets was revealed.
