Man stabbed to death in bar brawl in Serowe

PALAPYE: A 35-year-old man of Mokwena ward is to appear before Serowe Magistrate court today (Monday) for stabbing to death a 20-year-old man of Mahalapye at Sedze Bar in Serowe on Sunday night.

The two are alleged to have had misunderstanding when the bar was closing around 10pm. The suspect then stabbed the deceased with a sharp object on the neck in front of eyewitnesses.

After being stabbed, the deceased attempted to run away only to collapse and die at a nearby Dineo Liquor Restaurant. The body of the deceased is at Sekgoma Memorial Hospital morgue awaiting post-mortem.
