Debswana employee murdered in Mukubilo

PALAPYE: A 35-year-old operator at the Debswana mine in Orapa was found dead in his car in Mukubilo village Friday night. The deceased, originally from Nhlapkhwane village, had multiple stab wounds on the head.

According to police, the deceased was travelling from Francistown with two unknown passengers. Investigations reveal that just before Mukubilo village, he hit a dog. He stopped by the bus stop and alighted the car to investigate.

An eyewitness told the police there were two passengers who remained in the car while the deceased was inspecting the damage.
