One of the hopefuls, Kgang Kgang, has written a letter of complaint to the party secretary general, Mpho Balopi pleading that another candidate, Tshephang Mabaila be reprimanded for ‘playing dirty’. Kgang accuses Mabaila of sponsoring a story to a popular Facebook page Daniel Dan Kenosi in a bid to discredit him as a trustworthy candidate.

He also complains that Mabaila is controlling the branch even though he is not in the branch committee. “Mabaila is a law unto himself and some of his campaign team members are members of the branch committee contrary to Article 10 of the code of conduct. He even threatens members of structures with expulsion from the party by the President.
