Skeletons tumble in rape of 12-year-old boy

A 26-year-old man arrested back in 2012 for raping a 12-year-old boy, also has another case involving the sexual assault of a five-year-old boy, a court has heard.

The previously unknown case also stems from 2012.

Yesterday, the Investigating Officer (IO) in the case of the 12-year-old boy, detective constable, Masego Modimo told the Broadhurst Magistrate’s Court that together with the old case, the accused was facing a total of two counts of rape and indecent assault both involving male minors.
