SA audit firm scuppers Mamelodi�s case

Former Botswana Premier League (BPL) chief executive officer, Bennett Mamelodi has failed in his attempt to serve papers to South Africa’s forensic audit firm, ADM Financial Forensic Services, as his case drags on.

The Gaborone High Court last month granted Mamelodi permission to serve ADM Financial Forensic Services with papers to appear to be part of the court proceedings in a case in which Mamelodi is challenging his dismissal by Botswana Football Association (BFA). Mamelodi was removed from his position at the BPL after a forensic audit conducted by ADM Finance Audit showed financial irregularities with a deficit of P6.2 million.

Earlier this year, Mamelodi was successful in his court application to add the audit firm as one of the respondents in the matter.
