The Monitor :: Metropolitan Celebrates Three Millionaire Sales Reps

The star of the night walked away with the prestigious millionaire club awards, which is awarded to a direct sales member to bag commission of one million pula in the year.

This year, Metropolitan celebrated three into their Millionaire club, including Oganeditse Jack and Gosaitse Kelebogile, as the Metropolitan millionaires increased to three in a year since the awards were introduced three years ago.

Boitumelo would also be crowned best in annual premium income, and best overall.

When Metropolitan started celebrating their Millionaire salespersons in 2015, Jennifer, then known as Jennifer Kobuoa, became the first recipient of the award.

Last year as Metropolitan celebrated their awards with a BOT50 theme, Jennifer was on the podium again as she was also recognised for best annual premium income and best overall, the feat she repeated yet again this year as she poured her heart out, glorifying her God for the achievements.

Jack, who engraved her name in the elite millionaire club last year along side Jennifer, was also back on stage to take the award for the second year running.

The winners have booked themselves holiday packages to Mauritius courtesy of Metropolitan.

Others include marketing executive, One Oreeng, Rebaone Ramagapu, Gosaitse Kelebogile, and Nnawalt holdings. Meanwhile Mompoloki Tsheko walked away with Best in Conservation award, that recognises high quality business, while Kabelo Mafoko and Nametso Marotswane took the most improved, and best newcomer award, respectively.

There were also awards for best teams in the various categories with team Serurubele raking four

Makombe added that the church is not an opposition party but cannot ignore their role in addressing labour and socio economic and developmental injustices of the country. He said it is vital for the church to interrogate issues surrounding lack of transparency and accountability.  He further said, time is now for BCC to address Parliament on issues that would assist government in diversifying the economy hence reduction on it’s over reliance on the diamonds.

Notwithstanding, the Alternative Mining Forum seeks to create a platform to address issues that impact negatively to the mining on the environment and agricultural lands around mining areas, the right and participation of host communities on extractives.

This year’s forum will focus on areas such as listening to the community voices from Selebi-Phikwe and surrounding villages on the negative impact of the BCL Mine closure, as well as to start a national movement on mining, tax and transparency issues.

Other focus issues that will also form part of the deliberations will be the identification of policy issues for the High Level Policy Forum and to develop strategies of upscaling advocacy and lobbying especially through the media fraternity. This year’s Alternative Mining Forum is convened under the theme, ‘The African Mining Vision-Ensuring No One Left Is Behind’.
