Botswana looks to reap benefits if SA wins rugby bid

The neighbouring country has moved ahead of rivals, France and Ireland, and is now favourite to be announced the next host of the World Cup. The South African bid received favourable ratings ahead of France and Ireland but the decision would be ratified through the World Rugby Council ballot next Wednesday. South Africa last staged the global showpiece in 1995.
BRU secretary general, Ernest Mantsi said they are still brainstorming on how to benefit from the global sporting event, in case South Africa is given the nod.
