Premier League sides have been given a lifeline after First Instance Body (FIB), which is responsible for issuing licences, acceded to the request of the Botswana Premier League (BPL) board for extension.

The deadline for the clubs to have fully complied with Club Licensing was Tuesday, but it has now been moved to the end of November.

Outgoing chairperson of the body, Mfolo Mfolo has said the BPL board sent a request asking for extension of the deadline and advanced valid reasons hence they acceded to the call.
