Botswana Games preps gain traction

Preparations for the 2017 Botswana Games entered the final lap this week with the launch of the national tournament, which takes place in Gaborone from December 8-15.

Speaking at the launch yesterday, Games’ patron, Tiny Kgatlwane said the aim is to attract sponsors to ensure the success of the tournament. Kgatlwane said they are chasing a number of deals with potential sponsors.

She appealed to various stakeholders to come on board and support the games. “We are working on finalising some of the sponsorships we have proposed and also appealing to other stakeholders for additional funds because our objective is to host successful games,” Kgatlwane said.
