Police dig more dirt on Modenga as charge sheet grows

Former Francistown deputy mayor, Lechedzani Modenga is likely to face more charges as police dig more information about him pending trial next year.

State prosecutor, Oamogetswe Gaboutwelwe pleaded with Broadhurst Magistrate, Lilian Madabane to postpone Modenga’s case to next year as the investigating officer is still carrying out investigations.

Modenga is facing four counts of obtaining by false pretences, the offenses he allegedly committed in March 23 and May 8 this year near Phakalane Golf Estates in Gaborone.
