Local fashion designers had fashion lovers eating from their palms with their elegant designs at the Masa Hotel Square on Saturday.

The designers proved that indeed the local fashion industry has grown and that there are very talented fashion designers in Botswana. The event started off with the up and coming designers showcasing their clothing lines.

All the new designers were mentored by established local fashion designers. Most of their work was in a way inspired by their mentors. Amongst the exquisite designs were that of Sc Ser Consolado who opted to go for the colour pink collection.

Mildah Sengate’s lace and silk collection also got approval from the audience.

Other new comers in the local fashion industry who showcased their elegant clothing included Jubilee XXV, Lerang Keabile whose floral collection was breath taking; Mpho Chepete, Pamela Wame whose clothing line had a touch of yellow colours and flowers; Ra Mor Designs, Seatla Khuto STK Couture with white wardrobe; Temo Mpodi with a black, white and yellow collection and Bello Designs with black clothing with a dash of African print and flauntique.
