Molefhi says residents have a key role to play in reviving the area

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Selebi-Phikwe East legislator, Nonofo Molefhi says government will closely monitor the upcoming Motloutse farms electrification project to ensure that farmers in the area take advantage of its benefits.

Molefhi, who is also the Infrastructure and Housing Development Minister, told a recent Kgotla meeting that farmers had had to spend half a million Pula to connect their farms to the grid and the project would reduce these costs to as little as P18,000.

“Therefore farmers will not have an excuse for not connecting electricity and embark on commercial activities that employ others,” he said.
