Mystery as mirror �kills� woman

Mystery surrounds the death of a 49-year-old woman in Broadhurst, who passed away at midnight on Sunday after allegedly following a pastor’s instructions to pray while looking into a mirror given to her by the church.

Police are hoping a post-mortem will shed more light into the death of the woman, who originated from Tonota.

Witnesses to the incident say a pastor from a church in Mmopane instructed the deceased to pray at midnight while looking into the mirror he provided. The woman, witnesses say, passed away while praying with the mirror. Police investigating the incident are reluctant to lend weight to the witnesses’ statements, however.
