Senior police officers promoted, redeployed

The Botswana Police Service (BPS) commissioner, Keabetswe Makgophe has announced the promotion of some senior police officers.

Assistant commissioners, Maseng Mathiba and Cynthia Setilo have been promoted to the rank of senior assistant commissioner.

It is reported that Mathiba will take over as the managing director of International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) whilst Setilo becomes Divisional Commander North. The Commissioner has also promoted senior superintendents Dipheko Motube and David Rapula to the rank of assistant commissioner.
