The Botswana national deaf netball team has received a sponsorship worth P50,000 from Mascom Wireless on Thursday in Gaborone. The support was to cover the team’s participation in National Deaf Netball Championships that took place in Bloemfontein over the weekend.

Mascom provided netball kit, sneakers with socks, towels, first aid kit, goodie bag with Huawei Y3 phone and transport.

Speaking during the sponsorship hand over, Mascom chief communications and public relations officer, Tebogo Lebotse-Sebego said they are glad to be part of sport development in Botswana especially now that the support has shifted to people living with disabilities. She said the Botswana Deaf Association approached them years ago as they prepared for the tournament.
