BPP likely to follow Gaolathe to new party

FRANCISTOWN: The Botswana People’s Party (BPP) does not rule out the possibility of forming a coalition with a party that may be formed by Ndaba Gaolathe and a host of his supporters.

It is widely thought that Gaolathe’s faction will soon break away from the controversy ridden Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) and subsequently announce the formation of a new party.

In fact, Gaolathe is expected to deliver a special announcement during a meeting that will be attended by members of the faction tomorrow in Gaborone. It has been speculated that the announcement of a new party may be made at tomorrow’s meeting.
