No Bulela Ditswe in opposition held constituencies

JWANENG- The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) secretary general, Mpho Balopi says constituencies in opposition hands will not go for the primary elections, but will have nominated candidates for the 2019 general elections.

He said some of the affected areas are Jwaneng/Mabutsane, Kanye South and Gaborone North constituency, which are currently held by Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC). Balopi explained that the ruling party is in the process of counselling BDP members who had shown interest in contesting for the primary elections in such constituencies.

He sid a press conference will be called soon to reveal the constituencies and the names of candidates who will represent the party in the 2019 general elections.
