Mysterious Inferno Claims Life Of Dj SK

In what is suspected to be suicide,celebrated jazzman, Soares Katumbela, popularly known as ‘DJ SK’, died two days before his big event, the Francistown Jazz Festival Katumbela is alleged to have met his fate in his own car after it burnt to ashes in Tlokweng.

Even though the Tlokweng Police station commander, Station Robson Maleka could not confirm whether it was Katumbela, he told The Monitor that they recorded such an incident on Thursday.

“The investigations are still ongoing. As far as we are concerned, it could be a man or woman. We have requested the family members to help identify the deceased,” he said. Maleka added that the incident happened on Thursday between 3pm and 4pm and he could not classify it as suicide or accident as yet.
