LEA launches IMIS to improve operations

The Local Enterprise Authority on Monday launched the Integrated Management Information System (IMIS) meant to improve operational efficiency, employee productivity and morale, customer service and satisfaction.

LEA Chief Executive Officer, Dr Tebogo Matome said the need for this system was necessitated by the realisation that the organisation carried out most of its functions manually where there were disparate systems.

"They were not integrated and did not talk to each other," he said.
