FRANCISTOWN: The Debswana First Division North league that was supposed to start this weekend has been postponed indefinitely.

First Division North secretary general, Rapula Gaotlhobogwe said they postponed the competiton on the advice of the BFA Compliance office as there is a pending matter involving Chobe United that is before the BFA Appeals Committee.

“We have received communication from the Compliance office that there is a Chobe United appeal before the Appeals Committee, therefore we had to delay the league until the matter is resolved,” Gaotlhobogwe said yesterday.
