SELEBI-PHIKWE: After a long spell in the Debswana First Division, ECCO City Greens will be looking for a return to the BTC Premiership next season. The club has parted ways with coach, Texan Phiri and appointed former mentor, Atshele Molapi on a three-year deal.

ECCO public relations officer, Sylvester Patella said the coach’s mandate is to take the team back to the top flight.

“We are going back to where we belong, luckily we did not lose any of our players during the transfer period and they have been with the team for the past two seasons. They know what we expect from them and they have all promised to take the club back to the premiership,” he said.Patella said they are in talks with a potential sponsor, although he declined to divulge the name of the company.
