First Setswana Animation series to be launched next week

Mellow Deeds, in collaboration with Children Association of Performing Arts Botswana (CHIPABO) and Matimpole Arts, will launch the first ever Setswana Animation Series called Makepe Tales next week Thursday at Masa Square Hotel.

The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development (MYSC) sponsors the project.  In an interview with Showbiz, Makepe Televison series producer Oageng Lemogang said they will finally launch the series after tough years of planning and production.

“Makepe Tales is the first of its kind. It is a 13 episode 2D animation that is set in an imaginary remote area near Serowe called Matimpole.
