Former award-winning radio personality, Desma ‘Ice Queen’ Basson, who has become a regular in the courts of law, is back in the dock charged with forgery and uttering a false document.

According to the Directorate on Corruption and Economic Crime (DCEC), Basson and one Kamogelo Kaote were recently arraigned before the Maun Magistrate Court charged with two counts of forgery and uttering a false document.

“Investigations conducted by the DCEC revealed that the accused persons on July 11, 2013 in Maun acting jointly and in concert, forged a Botswana Bureau of Standards inspection report which had been issued to Linefeeds (Pty) Ltd and which had failed the inspection.
