Six youths stab police officer to death

Police have arrested six men in connection with the murder of a police officer who was attacked and killed in an armed robbery incident at Block 8 location on Friday.

The Botswana Police Service (BPS) public relations officer Dipheko Motube confirmed that they are investigating a case in which one of their officers was murdered. “We had positive progress after the incident because later on that night we managed to arrest six suspects who executed the robbery and they are currently in police custody.

The incident occurred around 12:45pm,” Motube said.
