Botswana proposes Japan friendly match

Botswana has proposed to the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to assist them in organising a friendly match against Japan men’s national softball team in October.

The match is expected to take place during the upcoming World Baseball Softball Conference (WBSC) to be hosted in Gaborone. 

Speaking during the handover ceremony of softball equipment yesterday, Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) representative, Steve Botlhasitse said he has been informed by Botswana Softball Association (BSA) president, Tirelo Mukokomani, that they are putting together a presentation that would be forwarded to JICA.
