Masisi Magnanimous In Victory :: Mmegi Online

Following a resounding victory in which he was retained as the Party chairperson at the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) congress in Tonota, the country’s Vice President, Mokgweetsi Masisi is thanking Madomkgrag, who once again spoke with one voice by retaining him as the party chairperson, and therefore giving him confidence going into the 2019 general elections, as their party leader and President of the republic.

Speaking in the aftermath of the victory at the unveiling of the new BDP committee, Masisi said the confidence showed in him by the BDP congress was humbling and pledged to do all to repay Madomkgrag’s faith and confidence in his team.

Masisi thanked his party that the BDP congress that assigned him and his team the honour to lead the party was punctuated by peace and tranquillity with rivalries of camps soon forgotten as both sides exchanged hugs and pledged support and love for their beloved Domkgrag.
