BCP wants constituency allocation revisited

The Botswana Congress Party (BCP) has written to the Botswana National Front (BNF) and Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) to re-look the issue of allocated constituencies.

The BCP secretary general Kentse Rammidi confirmed on Tuesday during a press conference.  Earlier this year, Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) president Duma Boko announced that they have finished constituency allocations.  But that contracting partners were from word go, seemed unhappy with constituency allocation. 

The Botswana People’s Party (BPP), which had been given four constituencies, was vocal in their displeasure and stated then that they had written a letter demanding that their constituencies be increased by another three constituencies.
